October 1979 in Wichita, Kansas; 1st World lit Conference

September 1980 Lincoln, Nebraska; 2nd World Lit. Conference

February 1981 Memphis State; 3rd World Lit Conference that produced the manuscript known as the Greybook

April 1981 Santa Monica, California; 4th World Lit. Conference; The resulting draft disappeared & wasn't found until over 10 yrs later.

July 1981; they had to go back to Warren,Ohio; 5th World lit Conference and start recreating some of that work.

September 1981 WCNA-11 Miami then Fort Lauderdale Florida; 6th World Lit. Conference; all 10 chapters were finalized & proof read there.

November 1981 Memphis; Mid-South Regional Service Conference where the Approval Form of the Basic Text of Narcotics Anonymous was printed & Mailed out or delivered to every known registered N.A.group in the world app 1100

November 1981 after the Mid South Regional Service Conference was over, the WSC policy chair & roughly 8- 10 others worked on the Green Service Manual a revision of the 3rd edition blue that was approved in 79 , & finalized 13 of the 15 IP'S that were to be sent out to the fellowship for Approval .

February 1982 Philadelphia 7th World Lit Conference is where the stories were compiled.

Memphis 1982/early spring the stories were printed out ,along with the green service manual & sent out same as the Approval form to the fellowship for approval.

May 1982 WSC 7- Approval form was approved at the WSC.

May 6, 1983 WSC 8- WCNA 13 New York they delivered the Book
